† Fourcaud Mammoth is a dead fossil unknown Woolly Mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius), , who died at Fourcaud site, in France, .
Fourcaud Mammoth was born wild at Europe unspecified location.
a mammoth tusk unearthed in the south of France in July 2010, in a sandy lens of an ancient Aude terrace (Quillan, France). This kind of discovery is scarce in this area and deserves to be mentioned. This is the first occurrence of Mammoth remains in this part of France and confirms the presence of this Proboscidean in the area during the Quaternary period. The terrace has been attributed to MIS 6-8, which allows us to ascribe this tusk to Mammuthus cf. intermedius, characteristic of biozone MNQ24 belonging to the end of Middle Pleistocene rather than the Upper Pleistocene Mammuthus primigenius
