"Kamla was granted permission for the elephant safari in 2002 and since then has been a show stealer at the Holi celebrations," her owner Abdul Rashid said. Kamla also made appearances in a few Bollywood movies such as Govinda-starrer 'Maharaja' and SRK's period movie 'Asoka'. 2013-07-11: she took a bath and was ready for the safari but suddenly collapsed and died near the Amber police station
