Comments / pictures

Minnie and Babe arrived together to Zoo New England from a private New York company owner in June 1953. In January 1973, they were again sold together to the Carson & Barnes Circus. Babe was "Lost to Followup" according to the North American Regional Studbook for the Asian Elephant, and this Minnie as well, since the studbook confused her with another Minnie, SSP nr 617.

Most likely dead in Mexico.
