This "Diamond" was added to the H-W Herd following the 1913 Peru flood.
My dad was on the show in 1922 and mentioned him to me several times, he said that as far as he knew he only grew one tusk.
I think the Newtons lost several, if not all of their elephants, in an epidemic of Hoof & Mouth disease in California.
