We have just returned from Sri Lnka and had a wonderful day at Pinnawala.We arrived as the elephants were in the water and watching them play was just great.A siren blows when it is time to come out and they all troop up the slope and back to their enclosure.The babies are just gorgeous-go see them if you can.

It was funny to read the story that(more or less) confirmed what my dad had told me years ago. He said he and my mother had named me 'Elly' (short for Elisabeth) because the owner of Circus Straatsburg (dutch for Strassburg) was called like that.
