Description

Braeside Farm (Rory Hensman) elephants, in Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe and the first elephant arrived in 1988. The last elephant left in 2002.


Comments / pictures1988: Rory Hensman took on his first two young orphaned elephants, Jumbo and Miss Ellie.

1998: Jake, Emily, Janet, Michael and Damiano came from the Zambezi Valley cull. They were moved from Dombowire Game Park, Bindura to Braeside on November 24, 1998.

2003-09: after discussions with Philé van Zyl and Howard Blight, Rory Hensman agreed to create the new company, Elephants for Africa Forever (EFAF).
