John "Lord John" Sanger Jr., circus director in United Kingdom

Born 1854 in United Kingdom dead 1929-09-00 in United Kingdom , son of director John Sanger Sr. and assistant director Elizabeth Sanger .

The birth of John Sanger was registered in the Norwich district in the first quarter of 1854; his mother's maiden name was Atkins.

At the 1861 census John, his parents - John (40 Newbury, Berkshire) and Elizabeth (32 Newbury, Berkshire), and his sister Laurina (4 Scotland) were in Manchester, along with John senior's brother George Sanger and his family. John and George were circus proprietors.

By 1881 it seems that John's mother had died and his father had remarried - Lizzie was 50 born in Darlington, Durham. John had also married and was an Equestrian, presumably an act in his father's circus. They were in Leicester at the time.

He had married Rebecca Pinder at Great Yarmouth in the first quarter of 1879.
