Amboseli Elephant Research Project (AERP)

This INCOMPLETE list contains 400 elephants listed from 64 elephant families in Amboseli National Park in Kenya. Each family has an AERP family group id and/or number within the Amboseli Elephant Research Project (AERP) in Amboseli Region, Kenya. Over 1000 elephants (abt 650 in 1986) roam through Amboseli National Park, so most elephants in Amboseli are not listed with a AERP id. The recently born elephants, without valid AERP family id, are listed at the bottom of this list. The youngest orphan who has survived in Amboseli was 18 months old.
