Hope (Yod Doi) was born captive-born 2000-08-00.

His Thai name, Yod Doi is northern Thai for "top of the mountain."
2002-03: arrived 2002-03 as orphan, came from karen owner in Huay Pak Kood

Something happend with his tusks?

ENP writes on their Facebook: "he broke off his Tushes so many times in wrestling sessions with bigger eles that the nerves died and they don't grow any more..”"

Hope knows no fear and his energy is boundless. He bounces around the park teasing other elephants and causing much amusement to the visitors and staff alike. He is often pushed away by the females who fear his uninvited attention causing them to become very protective of the babies within their family group

2016: He is a father of the charming boy-Navann-and is now living in a large enclosure where he can be roam free.
