Donkey was born wild 1965 at Asia unspecified location.

This photo was taken in May 1967 and probably shows Donkey and an elephant called Sandra or Samba, who is standing in the front of the smaller, younger elephant, which is probably Donkey. (Chocolate is not on the picture) Photo: Erland Wadsten, 1967

In 1991, elephant keeper Robert Nilsson, here with Donkey, was killed by the elephant Putschie.
