In Honolulu, Hawaii, during a circus international performance, the female elephant Tyke crushed her trainer Allen Campbell to death before hundreds of horrified spectators, at the Neal Blaisdell Arena. Photo of Allen Campbell (left) taken in Peru, Indiana, 1993. After this she ran out on a street and attacked more people. She was shot by the police afterwards. Police look over Tyke the elephant, lying dead against a car on Ilaniwai Street.
