1954: donated to the zoo by the Tulsa Jaycees after being acquired for $3,000
En route from Calcutta, India, to Savanna, Georgia, the ship broke down near Bermuda, and brought to the capitol Hamilton. She spent two weeks in Bermuda after she refused to board an airplane, but another ship was routed to pick her up
