A male Sumatran elephant (Elephas maximus sumatranus) with the identity Damar aged 2 years and 4 months at the Buluh China Elephant Conservation Unit in the Natural Tourism Park (TWA) was found dead on Wednesday (11/1). The results of Necropsy and laboratory tests, the cause of death of the calf was positive for infection with the Elephant Endotheliotropic Herpes Virus (EEHV) .
