microchip number was 003-310-355.

At 10.00 AM on October, 31, 2011, The Foundation at Lampang Camp was inform that the villager found elephant's dead body in the forest, far from Maetha substation around 21 km. Our field staffs with Mor Sak (Doctor Phethisak Sombatphuthorn, veterinarian of elephant's hospital) and the rangers from Doi Phamaung Wildlife Sanctuary hurry up to that scene. By the dead condition, they suppose it is Pang Boonmeenan because of long tail, small tusk, size of body and also coarse dungs. Her Majesty Queen Sirikit released Pang Boonmeenan (From WWF) on February 10, 2001 in Doi Phamaung Forest. She was 60 years old, microchip number was 003-310-355. She had lived with Pang Thongbai which she died on May, 2010 then Pang Boonmeenan lived alone until she passed away.
