Twiggy is a living confiscated Female ♀ African savanna elephant (Loxodonta africana) , located at the Toledo Zoo, in United States.
Twiggy arrived in 2010-02-14 to the Toledo Zoo, relocated from the Baron von Uhls Wild Animal Circus (Julius von Uhl), in United States.

Twiggy was born wild 1985, captured 1987 .
In February 2010, the USDA confiscated von Uhl's animals, including tigers, lions and his elephant. The USDA claimed the animals' living conditions weren't following the law. The 25 year old elephant was then transferred to the Toledo Zoo, joining 29 year old Renee and her son Louie. This was the fourth USDA elephant confiscation, following elephants removed from John Cuneo, Lance Ramos and Willie Davenport.
