Muadzam is a living Male ♂ Asian elephant (Elephas maximus) , located at the Melaka Zoo (Malacca Zoo), in Malaysia.

Muadzam arrived in 2003-05-00 to the Melaka Zoo (Malacca Zoo), relocated from the Pekan Forest Reserve, in Malaysia.

Origin

Muadzam was born wild 1996.

Wildborn, Muadzam sustained serious injuries on its justify fore leg after being caught in a wildboar trap in Pahang, and was found wandering near Muadzam Shah, Pahang, after having been abandoned by its Herd when it got caught in the wild boar trap.

The baby elephant was immediately given treatment at an oil palm estate there and in view of the seriousness of its injuries, the Zoo officials decided to bring it over to Malacka Zoo.
