The North American Regional Studbook lists this elephant with a Temporary Studbook Number, lacking "supporting documentation to validate their identity."

Seeta was born wild 1952.

Comments / pictures

Tex, Padmuh, Tara, Yamina, Rani, Seeta and Rajee were the seven punks added in 1953 as "The Seven Wonders," and all included in the 1955 Ringling Brothers & Barnum & Bailey Combined Shows. In December 1957 the show toured in Mexico City, where five of their elephants were sold to the local zoo - Judy, Seeta, Rani, Tara & Yamina.
