Comments / pictures

Dandara was anesthetized to see if the baby was alive and as the death of the baby was confimed, some medicines was administraded to help her expel the dead baby wich has passed the cérvix but she was unable to expel. Then, a few days later, as she was still unable to expel the baby, the vets anesthetized her again to take out the baby. A vaginal vestibulotomia surgery was done, but because of the babys size and weight: 140 Kg plus the fact it was dead, emphisematous and with an irregular presentation in the birth canal it wasn’t possible to remove it. Unfortunatelly Dandara (the female) died on 04/03/2010 from serious circulatory complications, the baby was female.
