Comments / pictures

Nova Scotia
-Adult male tusker
-Imported from India with Mahout in and around 1967
-Purchased by a lumber company
-Died the second winter, possibly froze to death

My old boss was working for Gene Holter back then and Gene was offered the
bull after the Mahout decided to return home. Gene sent Smokey Jones with a
trailer to bring him back to California, on arriving at the logging camp, he
decided it wasn't worth his time to battle with the very large Tusker and
phoned Gene to tell him he was returning alone!
