2021-05-25: This very impressive male is called X004 because he is someone we don't know. We're fairly sure he's an Amboseli elephant. He probably went away when he was a newly independent young male and before we got good ID photos of him. When he is in Musth he comes to the Park looking for receptive females. Today he mated with one of the females from the PC2 family, Pleiades.
