Biography Andal is a living Female ♀ Asian elephant (Elephas maximus) , located at the Renganathar Swamy temple , in India .
Andal arrived in 1986-10-16 to the Renganathar Swamy temple, relocated from the Top Slip Kozhikkamuthy Elephant camp (Annaimalai) , in India .
In Renganathar Swamy temple, Andal lives as single living elephant at this location

Andal was born unknown 1980 .
Comments / pictures 2017-08-29: He told me that Andal was 38 years old and she came to Srirangam on 16th October 1986, which is almost 31 years. That is when I realized, why she did not panic when a lot of people surrounded her. She is taking the Kudam filled with water from the Kaveri river as an offering to Ranganatha every day. It is her usual routine of starting her day.
