Thiruvambadi Cheriya Chandrasekharan (c. 1980) is one of the tallest elephants in Kerala owned by Thiruvambadi Temple.[1][2] Following the death of Thiruvambadi Sivasundar in 2018, Chandrasekharan carried the idol for Thiruvambadi sector on behalf of the temple.[3] Cheriya Chandrasekharan is named after the elephant "Thiruvambady Chandrasekharan" (now known as Thiruvambadi Cheriya Chandrasekharan), who died in 2002.[4] The elephant was bought from a circus Group of Bihar in 1999 at the age of 20 and was later dedicated to the temple in 2007. 2016-12: suffering from impaction for the past 16 days
