Willy Togni, son of Ferdinando Togni, with his brothers Enis and Bruno, was the founder in 1963 of Circo Americano.
Willy was considered one of the greatest elephant trainers of the last generation. In 1963 in Torino he presented with Gunther Gebel a group of 26 elephants.
Willy was the teacher of his nephew Flavio.
Willys sons are Marco and Loris.




1995-11-01: An elephant trainer in Rome, Italy with the Togni Circus was killed by one of their Asian elephants. The elephants had been purchased by Togni from Bennewels, a Danish Circus.
