Ellen Burdett Sanger Coleman , circus animal trainer in United Kingdom Coleman was born * 1878 dead 1969 , daughter of circus animal trainer Alexander Coleman and circus animal trainer Laurina Coleman ⚭ Married to Harry Austin born 1872 . Ellen, who in 1898 was described as a tight rope walker and equestrienne, also used the name Topsy Sanger professionally. She died, aged 90, in 1969. Ellen "Topsy" Coleman, married Harry Austin (c.1872-1919), the eldest son of George and Emma Austin (1838-1900). Ellen and Harry were both equestrians, Harry and Ellen stayed with Sanger Circus for many years and performed by Royal command at Balmoral in 1898. Ellen was a High School rider, while Harry was a trick rider, part of the "Brothers Austin" troupe. George and Harry Austin brothers performed with "Lord" George Sangers Circus, standing on the backs of a pair of horses. Ellen and Harry had four children; Olive, Cissie (d.1977)(June’s mother), Florence (Florrie) and a boy.
