At Circus Busch, Ursula Böttcher met and fell in love with Erich Böttcher, assistant to the elephant trainer, Epi Vidane. Ursula liked her new life; she stayed with the circus and married Böttcher in 1955. Ursula Böttcher passed away in her native city of Dresden, on March 3, 2010, in her eighty-third year.
