Stafford Bullen (20 March 1925, Bathurst, New South Wales - 12 November 2001, Sydney) was an Australian circus proprietor and co-founder of the African Lion Safari (Warragamba). Bullen was born to parents Alfred Bullen and Lilian Bullen, who in 1920 founded Bullen's Circus in Australia. His circus career began at four, travelling the country as a child. He had a tutor and was an above average student, yet his formal education ceased at age fourteen. Stafford and his brother Ken Bullen ran the family business after their mother died in 1965. Stafford married Cleo Rinaldo, whos father Joseph Rinaldo was an Austrian stuntman, and her mother Freda Cuthbert, was a snake charmer and lion tamer with South African Bostock and Wombwell's Circus. Stafford and Cleo had four children: Mark Bullen, Brenton Bullen, Sonya Bullen and Craig Bullen.
