In her second marriage with Oscar Hoppe, she founded Circus Helene Hoppe/Circus Helene Althoff in 1939.

In third marriage with Hans Kossmayer, the couple took over the Circus Kossmayer

1956-1958: she and her husband rented Circus Apollo from Emil Wacker.
