Berg was born * 1950-01-14 in Stockholm Sweden .

Being a second generation zookeeper, Mats Berg grew up in the Zoo in Stockholm, starting to lead horses, later assisting the elephant keepers and was before he left the zoo, head keeper and resonsible of the carnivore section. Later he was owner of Järvzoo in northern Sweden.
