~1870: Adolf Strassburger Jr. born.

1916; Adolf Strassburger sold his circus to Lorenz Hagenbeck, who continued it as Cirkus Hagenbeck.

1917: After the First World War , Adolf Strassburger started a new circus Strassburger with his brother Leopold. They traveled with the circus from Germany to the Scandinavian countries, to France, Belgium and the Netherlands.

1919: Adolf Strassburger Sr. died.
