In his special field, reproduction biology, he is one of the pioneers of assisted reproduction in large mammals, including elephants, rhinos, big cats, and panda bears. He has published 153 papers, written 24 book chapters, given over 212 presentations (including 50 plenary lectures) and has 5 patents.
