Description

Barnum and London Circus, located in United States, was founded in 1881. Barnum and London Circus closed down in 1885.

Merger with P. T. Barnum, James Bailey and James L. Hutchinson, "P.T. Barnums new & Greatest Show on Earth, And The Great London Circus, Sangers Royal British Menagerie and The Grand International Allied Shows United", soon shortened to "Barnum & London Circus".

1881: 20 elephants, 15 asians, 5 africans.

1883: Elephant boss: George Arstingstal.

1883-02-10: 28 elephants: 3 small elephants arrive from Hamburg making a herd of 28. Chief and Hebe copulated on 6th, 8th, and 10th.Henry Bowser, P. T. Barnums personal secretary

Barnum and Bailey split up again in 1885, but came back together in 1888 with the "Barnum & Bailey Greatest Show On Earth", later "Barnum & Bailey Circus",
