Description

Circorama, Italy , was founded in 1962. Circorama closed down in 1984.


Comments / pictures1962: Three children of Paride Pippo Orfei and Alba Furini, Nando Orfei, Rinaldo Orfei and Liana Orfei founded Circo a 3 piste Orfei, one of the first three-ring circuses in Italy. The circus included nearly twenty elephants.

1970: Circo a 3 piste Orfei became a new name: Circorama

1977: the Orfei siblings split into two circuses: Nando Orfei created Circo Nando Orfei, while Liana Orfei and Rinaldo Orfei established a smaller version of Circorama.

1984: Rinaldo Orfei left Circorama and founded Circo Rinaldo Orfei
