Pat Kelly, founder of Kelly Brothers Circus had a son named Paul Kelly who married Dorothy and in 1954 they purchased the old Cole Bros. Winterquarters at Peru, Indiana, and had the pink elephants which were on the cover of Life or Look magazine.
