Comments / picturesMoore was subsequently contracted to obtain and train several elephants for the film Circles in a Forest, based on the novel of the same name by Dalene Matthee, which was to be filmed near Knysna in South Africa. The year was 1987 and in double-quick time Moore got hold of Abu, Benny and Cathy (now the 'leaders of the pack' at Abu Camp), and another bull, Sammy.
