Asian elephant (Elephas maximus) at
Twycross Zoo in United Kingdom

Iris was born wild 1966-12-00.

1991-08-04: Headbutted and killed head keeper Roy Lock.

For most, if not all, of her life Iris was kept as a single elephant.
The EEP has no full recorded date of arrival.
