Comments / pictures

After spending many years at the Hannover Zoo, Calvin made a brief residence in Leipzig for breeding efforts before being transferred again eight months later to the Ostrava Zoo in May 2009.

The 2005 Edition of the North American Regional Studbook for the Asian Elephant incorrectly states Calvin resided at the Louisville Zoo for a two year period. This was corrected in the 2007 Update.
