Circus Leonard (Cirkus Leonard Houcke), located in Sweden, was founded in 1869. Circus Leonard (Cirkus Leonard Houcke) closed down in 1891.
1863: Adeles and Jean Léonard Houckes eldest son Adolphe Leonard Villieme Houcke married Caroline Steckel, daughter of Julius Constant Steckel and Margaretha Maria Antoinette Gautier (daughter of Didier Gautier).
1868: Jean Leonard Houcke died.
1869: Jean Léonard Houckes widow, Adele Léonard-Houcke, bought Didier Gautiers circus in 1868, and founded circus Leonard, and managed the circus with her children Adolphe Houcke, Jules Houcke and Theodore John Houcke.
1877: Adolphe Leonard Villieme Houcke left the circus and founded his own Cirkus Leonard Houcke.
1879: The circus was closed down, after the death of the director Jules Hucke, who died by age of 39.
1882-11-26: Adele Léonard-Houcke died.
1882-12-18: Adolphe Leonard Villieme Houckes son Léonard Houcke died (born in June 1882).
1891: Cirkus Leonard Houcke went bankrupt in Poland in 1891, and Adolphe Houckes son in law, Adolf Olschansky, helped putting to circus on road again.
1899: Cirkus Leonard Houcke gave their last show and was closed.
1916: Adolphe Leonard Villieme Houcke died.
