Tinas pedigree:

Document updated2011-01-03: Height, Weight, Text RE
Tina was the third of four calves born to Rosy and Thonglaw.

After purchasing their first elephant, a male named Jackpot, the Vancouver Game Farm was offered newborn female "twins" born at the Metro Washington Park Zoo, Tina and Judy.

After the transfer of Tumpe to the Disney Animal Kingdom breeding program, Tina was kept as a single elephant for several years until the decision was made to transfer to The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee. The Vancouver Zoo's elephant program was permanently closed.

"Judy proved obstinate, but Hines said, “Tina had the most delightful temperament...to this day, if I drive into Vancouver Game Farm and call, Tina rushes over to me and creates a big fuss, telling me all the news since I last talked to her.”
Hines sold Judy and Jackpot to the Winston Game Farm in Oregon in 1972, and Tina was given a St. Bernard named Suzie as a companion — one which she preferred to Judy and Jackpot."
