In February 2005, Bentley Brothers Circus sold their two elephants, Bertie Mae and Valerie, to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.Bertie Mae is a female Asian elephant. She was born in 1980 in India. She came to Discovery Kingdom in 2005 along with her pal, African elephant Valerie. Bertie's favorite treat is jelly beans.
