1939: Zoo Dusseldorf bought Ceasar from Ruhe.

1944:On April 11, 1944, he broke 30 cm of the right tusk. The following day, he mauled his keeper who was on leave for 5 weeks. In May 1944, he was in bad mood and broke bolts and locks. In August 1944, he once again broke the same tusk, this time with the unveiling of the nerve. Nerve died and seemed that everything was all right. But already in November 1944 the tusk started to fester causing the great pain. The elephant must have been shot at the beginning of December 1944.
