1979: I think Mabel must have had a Pregnancy that was not completed or gave birth to a calf that died before it was registered, but we do not have any evidence, except that she gave birth two years later in December 1981. If she had lost a calf in 1979, with a 22-month Gestation period it would be likely that she would give birth in 1981.

1981: The calf born in December of that year was her son Mischa.
