Maya is a living Female ♀ African savanna elephant (Loxodonta africana) , located at the Basel Zoo, in Switzerland.
Maya arrived in 1999-01-15 to the Basel Zoo, relocated from the African Game Services (Ricardo Giazza), in South Africa.
