Kamba is a living Female ♀ African savanna elephant (Loxodonta africana) , located at the Dallas Zoo, in United States.
Kamba arrived in 2010-03-00 to the Dallas Zoo, relocated from the Animal Encounters (Doug Terranova), in United States.
Kamba was born wild 1980, captured 1982 .
In March 2010, the Dallas Zoo acquired two elephants from private owner Doug Terranova. Congo and Kamba joined the zoo's other two elephants, Jenny and Gypsy, as part of the zoo's new expanded, state-of-the-art Giants of the Savanna
facility. Upon their arrival, Congo and Kamba were transitioned from Free to Protected Contact per the Dallas Zoo's management philosophy.
