Claude-Pierre Loyal , known as Blondin Cadet, born on September 23, 1795 in La Villette and died on May 23, 1867 in Caen, was a French squire and circus director. Initially a squire, he founded the circus which bears his name and is also director of the Cirque national Claude-Loyal. Married to Catherine Célina Levergeois, he is the father of twelve children, some of whom, like Gougou Loyal, become famous. He died in Caen during a tour like his stepson Théodore Rancy 2 thirty years later . His grave is at the Saint-Jean de Vaucelles Cemetery in Caen 3 .
